First Milk announces further milk price increases

First Milk has today announced an additional milk price increase of 1.0ppl from September 1, 2026. This is in addition to its previously announced 2.0ppl increase for September, taking its September manufacturing standard litre to 35.85ppl, including the member premium. In addition, the farmer-owned co-operative has announced a further price increase from 1 October 2026 of 3.

Arla September milk price 2026

Arla’s conventional milk price increases in September by 0.89ppl The Arla organic milk price will remain unchanged. The liquid price is 37.42ppl for conventional milk and 54.11ppl for organic milk, based on 4% fat and 3.3% protein.

2.37ppl milk price increase for Barbers from 1st October

To deliver 40.11ppl at milkprices.com manufacturing league table criteria, or +2.30ppl to 39ppl at the lower constituent Barbers Standard Litre price.

Müller confirms 37ppl October farm gate milk price

Dairy farmers supplying Müller who meet the conditions for Müller Advantage will receive a milk price of 37ppl from 1 October 2026, an increase of 2ppl.

6ppl milk price increase for Freshways from 1st October

In their August market update Freshways have announced a price increase of 6ppl, effective from 1st October. This results in a standard litre price of 38ppl

Barbers price increases of +4.14ppl to 37.74ppl* (additional August & September increases)

In their August newsletter, Barbers have announced they will add a further +1.00ppl, delivering a total +2.50ppl improvement from August. They also wish to declare a further +1.50ppl increase for September. In total, the combined increases amount to +4.00ppl at a Barber’s Standard Litre, or +4.14ppl using the milkprices.com *manufacturing league table criteria of 4.

First Milk’s September milk price to increase by 2.0ppl

First Milk has announced its milk price for a standard manufacturing litre will increase by 2.0ppl from 1 September 2026. This means its manufacturing standard litre will increase to 34.85ppl, including the member premium.

Arla August milk price 2026

Arla’s conventional milk price increases in August by 0.88ppl The Arla organic milk price will remain unchanged. The liquid price is 36.57ppl for conventional milk and 54.11ppl for organic milk, based on 4% fat and 3.3% protein.

Müller confirms 35ppl September farm gate milk price

Dairy farmers supplying Müller who meet the conditions for Müller Advantage1 will receive a milk price of 35ppl from 1 September 2026, an increase of 0.5ppl.

In their July market update Freshways have announced a minimum price increase of 3ppl, effective from 1 September. This results in a standard litre price of 32ppl

1.55ppl milk price increase for Barbers from 1st August

In their July newsletter, Barbers are pleased to announce a second increase of 2026 to apply to milk supplies, a milk price increase of +1.55ppl to take the price at milkprices.com manufacturing league table criteria to 35.15ppl

First Milk - August milk price to increase by 1.5ppl

First Milk has announced that its member milk price will increase by 1.50ppl from 1st August 2026. This means it manufacturing standard litre will increase to 32.85ppl, including the member premium.
