Note, all standard litre prices are those quoted by www.milkprices.com and are based on the following:
The liquid standard litre 4% bf, 3.3% protein, 30,000/ml Bactoscans, 200,000/ml SCC, 1 million litres a year on EODC but before seasonality, monthly profile payments, balancing, B price additions, capital retentions or annual incentive schemes. The manufacturing standard litre is to exactly the same specification with the exception of 4.2%bf and 3.4% protein.

3ppl milk price increase for Freshways from 1st September

In their July market update Freshways have announced a minimum price increase of 3ppl, effective from 1 September. This results in a standard litre price of 32ppl

First Milk - August milk price to increase by 1.5ppl

First Milk has announced that its member milk price will increase by 1.50ppl from 1st August 2026.  This means it manufacturing standard litre will increase to 32.85ppl, including the member premium.

Arla’s conventional milk price increases by 1.32ppl in July. The Arla UK organic milk price will remain unchanged.

The 2026 currency adjustments increase the on-account price by 0.09ppl The liquid price is 35.70ppl for conventional milk and 54.08ppl for organic milk, based on 4% fat and 3.3% protein.
