Note, all standard litre prices are those quoted by www.milkprices.com and are based on the following:
The liquid standard litre 4% bf, 3.3% protein, 30,000/ml Bactoscans, 200,000/ml SCC, 1 million litres a year on EODC but before seasonality, monthly profile payments, balancing, B price additions, capital retentions or annual incentive schemes. The manufacturing standard litre is to exactly the same specification with the exception of 4.2%bf and 3.4% protein.

First Milk June 2025 Milk Price

First Milk Limited has announced that its milk price for a standard manufacturing litre will reduce from 1st June 2025 by 0.5 pence per litre (ppl) to 44.85ppl, including the member premium. Commenting on the announcement, Mike Smith, farmer director and vice chairman, said: “After a period of relative stability, where we have held our milk price since December 2024, we now, unfortunately, need to make a reduction for 1st June to reflect a change in overall returns.

Barbers June milk price – No change @ 45.08ppl

Arla’s milk price will remain unchanged for May 2025 for conventional and organic milk

The Arla milk price for conventional milk will remain unchanged from 1st May 2025. The liquid standard litre price is 46.04ppl for conventional milk and 55.62ppl for organic milk, based on 4% fat and 3.3% protein (as defined by milk prices.com) In their latest press release, Arla said: “Global milk supplies are increasing slightly.  Retail sales continue to grow.

Arla’s milk price will remain unchanged for April 2025 for conventional and organic milk

Press release from Arla – 31.03.2025 The Arla milk price for conventional milk will remain unchanged from 1st April 2025 however, the quarterly currency exchange rate adjustment negatively impacts the Headline price in GBP by 0.25 ppl.​ Thus, the Arla Headline price for conventional milk will be 48.02ppl.  The Arla milk price for organic milk will remain unchanged from 1st April 2025 however, the quarterly currency exchange rate adjustment negatively impacts the Headline price in GBP by 0.

2ppl Milk Price reduction for suppliers to Freshways – from 1st May

MMG Dairy Farmers Ltd Board Appointments

Dairy farmers Ray Gibbins and Fraser Jones have been elected by the MMG Forum to serve from 1st April 2025  on the MMG Dairy Farmers Board (MMG) for a three-year term of office. The appointments are in addition to four Board Members who continue to serve on the Board. First Milk holds May milk price

First Milk has today announced from 27th March, 2025 that its milk price will be held from May 1, 2025.  This means its price will remain at 45.35ppl for its manufacturing standard litre, including the member premium.
