What we collect & Why we collect it

We may collect the following information:

  • Main contact name and business name – this is predominantly used for Invoicing and bulletin circulation purposes.
  • Postal address and email address if applicable – this is predominantly used for invoicing purposes.
  • Holding & Herd number – this is used for placing tag orders or selling/purchasing entitlements
  • Type/number of animals farmed by the farmer – this is used to ensure IMPS Ltd offer you products that are relevant to you.
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or relevant offers

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Invoice purposes
  • Dairy Bulletin Circulation
  • Internal record keeping
  • To improve our products and services.
  • To send you samples of tags & prices (upon request by the customer) 
  • From time to time, we may also contact you for contracted market research purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Know how we process your Personal Data
  • Access the data we hold about you, which will be provided to you within one month of your request, and is free of charge unless we reasonably believe that your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive
  • Have complete or inaccurate data rectified without undue delay
  • The deletion or removal of Personal Data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue to process it (where you object to IPMS Ltd processing your Personal Data based on our legitimate interests, we shall cease such processing forthwith unless we have another lawful basis for such processing that overrides your interests, rights and freedoms; or the processing is necessary for the conduct of legal claims
  • Restrict our processing of your Personal Data (although we will still be permitted to store it where we have a legitimate interest in doing so, for example to address future disputes, in which case access to such Personal Data will be restricted as appropriate.)
  • Data Portability (we will provide your data in a format that allows you to move, copy or transfer Personal Data easily from one IT environment to another in a safe and secure way, without hindrance to usability).

Accessing and updating your personal information

Whenever you use IPMS Ltd, we aim to provide you with access to your personal information. If that information is wrong, we strive to give you ways to update or delete it quickly unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes.

We aim to maintain IPMS Ltd services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious damage. Due to this, after we delete information from The IPMS Ltd database, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our servers and may not remove information from our backup systems until we deem appropriate and safe.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
