Don’t miss this opportunity to influence how AHDB Dairy operates

Now Ian has not always been a fan of AHDB and how it operates from its chargrilled expensive ivory tower in Stoneleigh and so far as its dairy arm is concerned over the years, he has tried to keep them on their toes and to expose goings on behind those doors.

However as much as they deserve the occasional prod those opportunities have become few and far between in the last 3 years or so.

Ian has never argued the fact they provide an excellent independent source of information and dairy data for all in the industry including Ian who admits to publishing AHDB data on this bulletin which he always credits to them.

Dairy Farmers all pay the compulsory levy and must spend a couple of minutes (max) registering and vote in “Shape the future”  https://secure.cesvotes.com/V3-1-0/ahdbregistration/en/login?bbp=37684&x=-1

This will give you the opportunity to input in how your levy is spent/invested and what areas AHDB Dairy need to focus on.  Once you register in April you will get the opportunity to vote.

So, click the link above and register to have your say before the window closes.

Ian has no doubt the dairy levy will remain which means farmers need more say into how it is spent.

Perhaps given the Panorama footage there is scope for further on farm staff training as well as promoting and defending the UK dairy Industry.
