Spot milk continues to trade at a strong 34-36p delivered to factory but in reality, only a handful of loads are moving on a daily basis with one dominant buyer requiring additional spot milk AKA the Freshways/Medina group.
According to AHDB August dairy product prices firmed with prices for cream, SMP, butter & mild cheddar all up compared to those reported in July.
Both AMPE & MCVE recorded increases (see above table). Similarly, UKMFE is up from 32.25ppl to 33.49ppl and continues to nudge North each week.
