1ppl total price increase for Crediton Dairy suppliers

Posted on: 23/04/21

Crediton Dairy has introduced a 13th payment from April 1st this year with what is understood to be the first 13th payment for a privately owned UK Dairy processor as opposed to a Co-op.

The 0.5ppl flat rate payment will be paid in January 2022 on all litres delivered in the 9 month period 1st April to 31st December 2021 unless the farmer is under notice to leave Crediton to supply another milk purchaser. That’s highly unlikely and in such an instance as well as leaving the 0.5ppl bonus we suggest a visit to a therapist would be appropriate.

Note producers who genuinely cease dairy farming will receive the 13th payment.

Going forward the 13th payment will be based on a calendar years loyally paid in the next January post the year end, and will be calculated annually based on the performance of the business,

In addition, Crediton has announced a 0.5ppl milk price increase from 1st of May which combined with the 13th payment increases the www.milkprices.com liquid standard litre price for May 1st to a champions league liquid price of 29.5ppl for an independent.
