Red Tractor Chair to Quit

Posted on: 26/10/20

Following last week’s surprise revelation that Baroness Lucy Neville-Rolfe effectively voted for lower food standards, it has been announced she is standing down from her position as Chairman on November 12th after a 3-year term of office.

The best Red Tractor and the Baroness could come up with is that she had decided not to seek a second term of office, which in itself has resulted in raised eyebrows.

It can be dressed up and spun as much as they want but the bottom line is her position is untenable and a major blow to Red Tractor’s credibility. See 23rd October story.
