GDT average falls for the second consecutive auction

This week’s GDT auction saw the average price ease to $3593 down 0.6% and the second consecutive fall in 2018. In addition, the average price for the key product WMP declined by 0.8% the first WMP price fall in 2018.
Notable results:
Butter down 1% to average US$5280 tonne
WMP down 0.8% to average US$3232 tonne
Cheddar up 1.7% to average US$3759 tonne
SMP up 5.5% to average US$2051 tonne
